BIE Academic Testing
Hello Parents,

All students in grades 3-8 and 11 will participate in required BIE academic testing in the areas of Reading, Math, and Science. This annual testing measures student aptitude in these academic areas, and the results will assist our school in making important decisions about teaching and learning. Our annual testing begins this week with science. Next week will continue with math testing and the week of April 13th will conclude with reading testing.

We have included with this message a detailed parent letter, test taking tips for students, and an incentive flier. We will be offering numerous incentives for students attaining the levels of proficient or advanced in the tested areas. Please stress to your child the importance of doing their very best on these exams. Please make sure they get plenty of rest and are present in school daily over the next several weeks for testing.

SRCS Annual Wacipi
Hello Parents,

We are seeking help to organize and run our annual Wacipi (Powwow). If you are interested in participating, we invite you to attend a planning meeting on Wednesday, March 4th at 4:30 PM in the High School Cafeteria. We will be nominating students and parents to serve on the Wacipi Committee. Your participation and support are important in making this year’s Wacipi a success. We look forward to seeing you there!
