Wasna Making | Culture Classes | September 17, 2026

Students got hands-on with culture during Wasna Making in Culture Classes!

Through the activity, students learned about the traditional preparation of wasna while working together and connecting classroom learning with culture and tradition.

It was a great opportunity to learn by doing, share some smiles, and continue celebrating the knowledge and traditions that have been passed down through generations.

Learning. Culture. Tradition. Community.

Today, our school community stands together in a sea of orange. On this Orange Shirt Day, students, educators, and staff are honoring the Survivors of residential schools and remembering the children who never made it home. By wearing orange, we acknowledge the past, commit to learning the true history, and reaffirm that Every Child Matters. #OrangeShirtDay #EveryChildMatters
